Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room Nurse - (OR RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 E Pay Rate: $29.00 - 34.00
Must be strong in ortho and spine

From the sunny coastal cities of Southern California to the natural wonders of Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada mountains; California is truly a place that must be experienced first-hand. No book, postcard or photograph can do the state's numerous sites, attractions and cities any justice. Venture out west and the Golden State will surely have you shining in no time.
The role of the perioperative nurse / operating room nurse (OR RN) is to provide care for patients before, during, and after surgery or surgical procedures. The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant or operating room director with additional training. Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field; scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field. Perioperative nurses work in every type of healthcare facility, including hospitals, ambulatory or outpatient surgery centers, and physician offices.
Required Qualifications
CA license (active)
2 YRS OR Exp. Inpt procedures, experience in ortho and spine, total joints, advanced laporascopic
ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
Spine and ortho experience is preferred
Facility Location
The third largest city in San Diego County, Oceanside is located just south of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Like much of San Diego County, Oceanside boasts a temperate, tropical climate making it a consistent tourist draw. Visitors will surely want to check out Oceanside Pier, which is the longest pier on the Western US coast and offers sublime ocean views.
