StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $27.00 - 31.00
Family Couplet Care Center at this beautiful North carolina facility. BLS & NRP are required. This facility wants true Mother-baby couplet experience as there will be a 1:4-5 nurse-patient ratio. There are not any float requirements here, so you will use your postpartum skills exclusively.
MUST HAVE:
1. NC RN LIC or Compact state
2. BLS, NRP
3. 2 yrs. rec MB/ PP
4. 2 recent references
5. Experience with 1:4-5 nurse-patient ratio
6.. Provide Nurse to patient ratio history in selling notes
PREFERRED SKILLS:
START DATE: ASAP
SHIFT: 12D
Postpartum nurses are responsible for caring for both moms and their newborns after delivery. The postpartum care nurse plays a crucial role in the hours following delivery, monitoring mothers and helping to ensure proper recovery. Postpartum RNs must recognize postpartum depression and teach new moms how to address emotions, while also acting as a teacher for the new parents and usually giving instructions on how to care, bathe, breastfeed and/or bottle-feed the newborn and monitor his or her health.
Required Qualifications
NC or compact active license
3 years exp in specialty Mother/Baby, Post Partum
3 years large hospitals ( over 400 beds )
Previous travel experience
BLS, NRP
