Home Health Nurse - (HH RN)
StartDate: 08/11/2014Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $29.00 - 31.00

They focus on delivering the care that's best for their patients, whether that is home-based care focused on empowering them to manage a chronic disease, palliative care for those with a terminal illness, or hospice care at the end of life.

They are a recognized innovator, one of the first in the industry to equip their nurses with a laptop for point of care visits.
The home health nurse provides care in the patient’s place of residence with a variety of responsibilities that includes wound care, medication, patient assessment, and disease treatment and prevention education. Case management duties are sometimes included. The level of intricacy and required course of treatment for each patient's medical condition determines whether care is provided by an RN or LPN (LPNs are licensed to work under the supervision of an RN after one year of specialized training).
