Maintenance Supervisor

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY Our client has an excellent opportunity available for a 1st shift Maintenance Supervisor at their Bluffton, IN facility. General duties are to oversee, manage and coordinate the responsibilities or a maintenance team dedicated to performing maintenance repair activities involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems for some of the newest CNC machine equipment, robotics, automated assembly, material handing and vision systems. More specifically, other duties and responsibilities will be to: -Assign, coordinate and direct maintenance employees according to service needs -In coordination with other maintenance managers- plan, coordinate, and direct projects to maximize equipment up time. -Ensure maintenance personnel are utilizing equipment, materials, tools and time effectively. -Provide technical guidance by identifying and tracking root causes for machine repair issues and implementing corrective measures. -Participate in the employee development process with the maintenance group in order to grow our talent and acquire the necessary skills to develop qualified maintenance technicians. Qualified candidates should meet the following requirements: -Minimum of an associates degree or 3 years previous maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. -Hands on mechanical repair experience working with Allen Bradley PLC's and Fanuc CNC equipment. -Strong communication skills and the ability to problem solve, lead and develop team skills.
