Manpower is recruiting for a company in Zeeland for a Controller/Office Manager. This is a long term, contract-to-hire opportunity.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement goals, policies, priorities and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting and payroll
- Perform cost analysis of Business Essentials financial status and recommend fee increases or client rebates.
- Supervise and participate in the preparation of various financial statements and reports
- Direct the installation and management of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures
- Direct the maintenance of general subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, cost and operating expenses.
- Monitor credit and collection applications.
- Prepare and assist accountants in the preparation of tax forms.
- Manage payroll process
- Work with medical insurance providers
- Keep President and the Board of Directors informed and provide advice on financial matters
- Manage, evaluate and train employees
- Oversee the process for receipt, entry, and billing for customer orders
- Order goods and services necessary for business Essentials and its community of clients
- Monitor and maintain the MRP System
- Develop proficiency and skills necessary to perform the regular duties of the VP in order to insure continued financial operations in their absence; Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Monetary Disbursements, Employee Insurance Claims
Qualifications
5 + years of Controller or Finances experience
Education
BA in Accounting
