Sr. Provider Relations Representative - Telecommute

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Provider Relations Advocates across the USA in managing and resolving provider relations and service issues.  The role has a heavy focus on resolving claim payment errors by working with other UHG departments and through UHG claim systems expertise. The work is Medicaid product focused and the UHG systems used heavily are COSMOS and CSP Facets. Experience with UNET is also desirable.

In this role you will be expected to:

-Use your analytic and data skills to identify a wide range of problems that can lead to incorrect claim payment

-Use your claim experience to uncover root cause of issues

-Manage projects that evolve through problem solving work

-Communicate with others and take action to resolve these issues

-Keep others informed relative to progress and status

- Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise
- Demonstrate superior time management, production and quality 
-  Retain information and apply it to future problem solving
- Communicate clearly and with confidence with employees at all levels including higher level leadership

Requirements:

-3+ years of managed care or medical insurance experience

-2+ years experience with Claims

- Proficiency with MS Excel

Assets:

- Proven research and analytical skills

- 2+ years working with projects (Claim Projects ideal)

- Experience with COSMOS, CSP FACETS, UNET

- Experience working with CMS

- 2+ years experience working with Medicaid

- Good organization and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills including telephone etiquette
- Undergraduate degree
