PLEASE NOTE: This is typically only a 1-day-a-week shift- Auction Sale Days

Tuesdays from 6:30am - 2:30 pm and on occasion, other shifts as may be needed. Minimum of 1 year experience in a Professional Kitchen desired.

This position performs general food preparation, serving, and clean-up tasks in Auction restaurant and snack bar as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook food under the direction of manager.

· Serve food including plating/wrapping foods to be served.

· Set-up banquet tables or for lunch meetings.

· Operate cash register; count back money.

· Responsible for general clean-up of restaurant and kitchen area.

· Responsible for keeping dishes and other kitchen equipment clean.

· Responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and rotating food items in storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers. Delivers food items to various locations as requested.

· Segregate and remove trash.

· Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Load/unload trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.

· Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager, i.e., cash register closeout at end of shift, open/close snack bar, etc.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Culinary Arts degree a plus.
  • 6 months of kitchen experience preferred.

· Restaurant certification preferred.

· Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.

· Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.

· Medium strength. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Moderate noise level.
