Description

TheStore Manager is responsible for properly overseeing and effectively managinga Biggby Coffeestore, storeemployees and store operations in their assigned area. Managers must provide and maintain excellent management, coaching and training to allbaristas within their store. Performs varied administrative duties andmanagement duties in thestore including but not limited to: overseeing and managing store labor, productivity, food costs, inventory and P L, coaching and mentoring of all store managers,conducts store evaluations forthe store, supervises all Assistant Managers and Baristas, recommends and ensures that improvements are implemented when needed, oversees all financial activity, budgets resources and marketingthe store, maintains that all company policies, procedures and programs are consistently implemented and adhered to in each store and any other management duties that may be assigned.

Requirements

Job Duties:

Oversees and managesthe assignedstore and store operations
Monitors and manages the store labor, productivity, food costs, inventory and P Lof the store
Implements strategic management practices to all managers and baristas
Oversees all financial activity of thestore, budgets and resources
Provides hands-on experience and support to all baristas
Ensures that all company policies, procedures and programs are consistently maintained and implemented atthe store
Communicates daily with all store managers, baristasand home office personnel
Implements counseling and coaching skills to motivate store managers and baristasand improve store operations and performance
Supervises assistantmanagers; creates and assists assistant managers in meeting their set performance goals
Demonstrates excellent communication skills with assistant managers,baristas and home office personnel
Provides on-going training and support to allstaff
Any other management duties that may be assigned


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Progressive knowledge of restaurant operations and store management operations
Ability to communicate effectively with home office personnel, store managers and store employees
Skill in maintaining detailed office communication and organization
Skill in developing and maintaining effective working relationships
Ability to be hands-on in store operations and support all store functions
Skill in English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation
Proficient PC skills and experience with MS Office
Ability to walk, stand and bend for longs periods of time while working each day in the stores
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of items frequently


Work Environment:
Normal working days / hours includes a range of 5 - 6 day work weeks, with a minimum of 50 hours or more per week due to new store openings or last minute circumstances or situations that may occur. Longer shifts, weekends, or holidays may occur as well as hours outside of the normal working hours.
Answering and responding to numerous daily phone calls, emails and/or text messages from managers or office personnel.


Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years of solid restaurant management work experience OR a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in business management, hospitality management or any other related field, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education comparable with the job knowledge, skills and abilities and experience in the use of computers and computer software.
