Position Overview

The Cafe Associate will assist with the preparation, cooking, serving and storage of foods.

Who Would I Interact With?

This position interacts daily with Customers, Sales, Managers, Sales Associates, Service Associates, just to name a few.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

• Assists with the preparation of food, including slicing, chopping, mixing, steaming and all other related duties
• Operates equipment such as: slicer, food chopper, mixer, steam equipment
• Assists with the inspection and inventory of food
• Serves food and assists Cafe staff
• Cleans kitchen, cafeteria equipment and facilities
• Backfills and relieves Cashier as necessary
• Performs related work as required or as assigned
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with Customers, Associates and Suppliers

What are the requirements for this job?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Efficient in the operation of food service equipment such as dishwashers, slicers, mixers, grills, fryers, ovens, etc.
• Must have a valid driver's license
