StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 E Pay Rate: $58.00 - 61.00
Vacaville is a city located in Solano County in Northern California. Exclusive order to AMN. The city is nearly half way between Sacramento and San Francisco on I-80. It sits approximately 35 miles from Sacramento, and 45 miles from San Francisco. Close to lost of fun attractions, something for everyone!
The ICU for this large organization is requiring an experienced Assistant NM, with Management/Charge Nurse experience. Will consider a strong Tele Assistant NM for this unit as well. Must be willing to float to Tele and MS The ideal candidate will have experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, drips, chest tubes, art lines.

The nurse manager oversees the entire nursing unit and is responsible for all administrative functions. As part of his/her administrative duties, the nurse manager may address any of the following tasks on a given day:

- Plan and enforce overall nursing policies, procedures, and services
- Maintain quality of nursing staff
- Ensure that each member of the nursing staff is constantly up-to-date in assessments, licensing, certifications, and other applicable training
- Directly care for patients through assessments and evaluations Although the nurse manager typically works day shifts, he/she is responsible for the unit 24 hours a day and reports directly to the Director of Nursing. The nurse manager may also work within specialized settings such as:
- Long-term care
- Rehabilitation
- Outpatient clinic
Required Qualifications
Management experience, for the ICU Assistant Manager position
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS
Drips and airway management exp
2 yrs of exp in Critical Care
