Manpower has an opening for a Warehouse Material Handler to start immediately. Responsibilities: Receive, store, handle and deliver Raw materials, Bulk, Components, Finished Product and Non-production items to appropriate areas. Use material handling equipment in accordance with standard operating and safety procedures. Check all Raw materials, Bulk, Components and Non-production item deliveries to ascertain that Purchase order numbers, quantities and lot numbers match packing slip and Certificate of Analysis. Verify incoming materials are received from an approved location using SAP. Check all Finished Stock to Goods Receipt Slips to ensure product description quantities and lot numbers match. Ensure all controlled substances are weighed upon receipt and calculate the label tare from Patheon gross weight to ensure accuracy of net weight received. Ensure all controlled substances are stored in the proper location. Maintain accurate inventory in SAP in accordance with CGMP's while issuing materials as appropriate. Assist with Physical Inventory as required. Participate with safety and housekeeping activities in the warehouse and be responsible for a specific area on a monthly basis. Store all reject/hold components, Raw Materials, Bulk and Finished Stock in Reject Cage/hold area maintaining logbook until dispositions are received. Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner that include daily checklist on all mechanical functions and preventive maintenance done on a monthly basis through the truck shop. Responsible for receiving/shipping materials with temperature tracking devices and downloading data stored within them. Monitor Temperature/Humidity charts entering all information in log books and responds to all alarms. Assist with the training of other employees as directed. Work independent and as a team as deemed necessary by job requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all job-related safety and other training requirements. Work in a safe and responsible manner in order to create an injury-free and incident-free workplace. Skills Required:: High school education or equivalent and six months experience in warehousing operations, inventory management and Fork Truck operations. Experience driving trucks requiring a Class A Commercial Drivers License preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP. Knowledge of Inventory Control and Inventory Policy. Knowledge of weight of materials to ensure rack weight capacity is not exceeded. Knowledge of reading/downloading Temperature Recording Devices and Charts. Ability to calculate net weights for controlled substances, convert lbs/kgs for raw materials, and decipher date of manufacture from various countries. Must have skills in warehouse utilization.
