Job Summary
Provide high level administrative and technical support by assisting the Sales Support Supervisor. Duties may include preparing reports, compiling statistics and other data using spreadsheets and tables, and other general clerical responsibilities.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Take incoming calls and provide information to callers or transfer call to appropriate individuals.
- Ensure computer entries are maintained and up-to-date.
- Review and track sales staff inquiries, complaints, improvement ideas, etc.
- Interface with sales staff on support needs.
- Compiles statistical data on sales status.


Nature and Scope
- Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.
- Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior co-worker and/or supervisor.

Work Environment
- Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- No travel required.


Minimum Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age
- Must pass the Drug Test
- Must pass the Background Check
- Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable


Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

- Organizational skills and attention to detail are critical as the individual will often face shifting priorities on multiple assignments.
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and find solutions.
- Intermediate to Advanced experience working with MS Excel.
- Experience working with MS Powerpoint preferred.
- Flooring or construction industry preferred.
