Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Regularly communicates with field offices and operating group management.

· Oversee integration of newly acquired partners and newly opened programs into the Billing/AR process and software.

· Participates in the implementation of the new Billing/AR internal policies and procedures

· Rolls out new federal, state or local billing requirements, trains field and service center staff on new processes

· Review, understand and modify, as necessary, internal controls for the Billing/AR process

· Develops improvement opportunities in order to reduce AR balance and DSO

· Develops ad-hoc reports as needed

· Prepares monthly informational Billing/AR reports and analysis for operating group and corporate management

· Documents specifications for and tests customizations made by the software vendor

· Leads testing process for periodic software updates

· Responsible for budget management

· Performs other related duties and activities as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Management or related field preferred. Five years’ experience in medical billing/accounts receivable and three years supervisory experience preferred. Job Posting Unposting Date
