Cardiovascular Nurse - (Cardio - CVICU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $32.00 - 36.00
This position presents an opportunity to join an elite team of passionate physicians and nurses within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). You'll find a challenging and rewarding environment where patient care is firmly rooted in compassion, innovation, and a drive for great outcomes. This highly esteemed facility welcomes creative, energetic caregivers.
Working in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), the cardiovascular nurse is responsible for administering care for patients following open-heart surgery. Considered to be the most highly specialized and critical intensive care unit, the CVICU is also sometimes responsible for the treatment and care of heart transplant patients.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
TX Lic
ACLS, BLS
Minimum 3-5 years experience
*must have recent CVICU experience within the last year, balloon pump certification, and have at minimum 3 years exp with post-op heart patients
