Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room Nurse - (OR RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 D
As a valued member of the Operating team, here you will care for patients with a wide range of conditions including complex cases. This position presents an opportunity for an experienced Operating Room RN to join elite team of passionate physicians and nurses. Ideal candidate will scrub and circulate. The role of the perioperative nurse / operating room nurse (OR RN) is to provide care for patients before, during, and after surgery or surgical procedures. The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant or operating room director with additional training. Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field; scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field. Perioperative nurses work in every type of healthcare facility, including hospitals, ambulatory or outpatient surgery centers, and physician offices.
Required Qualifications
1. 5 years circ exp.
2. ACLS
3. Active AZ or compact lic.
OR RN Circulator - We are waiting administrative approval but should hear hopefully by tomorrow - 13 week contract ASAP
5 + years experience - BLS and ACLS required - CNOR preferred not required, 10 hour days varied (40 hours a week), weekend call once ever 6 to 8 weekends plus two week nights in a four week schedule
