Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse - (NICU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $28.00 - 30.00

This unit is a state-of-the-art, 46-bed, Level-3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). It is known for being one of the best in the world. The unit sees babies with prematurity, respiratory disease, congenital malformations and genetic abnormalities, congenital and neonatal infections, and neonatal neurological and metabolic disorders. 3,600 infants are seen here annually. The role of the neonatal intensive care nurse (NICU nurse) is to provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy. Working in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals, the NICU RNs assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high-risk newborns requiring high-technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery.

Required Qualifications
Previous travel experience in large hospital facility (3-5 years)
MA license (active)

Preferred Qualifications
BSN
