Senior Java SW Engineer-Web Services - multiple locations - Full-time / Part-time

• Deliver best in class RESTful APIs as a member of an Agile scrum team assigned to work on the DHN project.


• Mentor and guide to other team member in best practices, patterns for reuse and resilience, and quality standards


• Bring innovative ideas to help continuously improve the DHN platform including the build, deploy,  test and runtime cloud ecosystems


• Ensure code meets or exceeds standards for coding practices, testing, security, scalability, resilience and maintainability


• Ensure high quality code moves efficiently from design to development to test to production


• Participate in debugging and performance tuning in a distributed, high performance cloud platform

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience


• Minimum 5 years IT experience


• Minimum 1 year of experience developing RESTful web services


• Deep knowledge of Java and Spring


• Experience delivering high quality code following an Agile methodology


• Experience designing software for scalability and resilience


• Experience reviewing and troubleshooting potential coding issues

• Commercial SW Engineering


• Experience building and tuning web service on scalable, resilient cloud platforms


• Designing web services for complex software systems


• Experience with RESTful security approaches
