We are currently looking for a Director of Clinical Operations to join our team in Cleveland, OH. This individual will have responsibility for the North East Ohio team which has more than 2000 members and will function as a Chief Nursing Officer. They will be responsible for providing clinical oversight of 4 clinical services managers, 2 team leads, 2 clinical advisors and 30 nurse practitioners. This position is client facing with nearly 100 SNF business partners and is also revenue generating with the oversight of the clinical team.



 


 


Responsibilities:


Strategize, develop and direct operations of the health services department to ensure provision of high quality, cost-effective medical services


 


Responsible for the development and management to budget related to medical care, directs actions to control targeted costs for inpatient and outpatient services in conjunction with the site medical expense team


 


Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, compliance with company policies and procedures


 


Form internal and external strategic relationships which will support program expansion and continuing success


 


Provide leadership and guidance to a highly regarded senior leadership group



 

Requirements

Required Education & Work Experience:



R.N. degree with active license


5+ years of demonstrated ability of providing leadership and supervision to a senior clinical staff


3-5 years leadership and management experience in an organization that serves the elder population


Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and managed care in a variety of health care settings


 


 


Preferred:


 


Masters degree prepared in nursing, health sciences, social services or business preferred


 


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


Strong negotiation skills, budget management experience and regulatory knowledge


Leadership and management experience in effective team building and continuous quality improvement programs


Working knowledge and experience in cross-functional business segments and their integrated influences and relationships


Effective and experienced in motivating and mentoring others who are not in a direct reporting relationship


Up to 35% local travel required
