PURPOSE/OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
The Sr. Manager of Marketing Database Operations will be responsible for all marketing database operations, data governance, and market sizing supporting all functional areas across the entire Time Warner Cable Business Class Enterprise. Additional focus will be driven towards ongoing target marketing requirements supporting the Small Business, Mid-Market, and Enterprise acquisition and retention marketing campaigns.

The location for this position is flexible within Time Warner Cable ' s footprint.

The ideal candidate will combine solid Database Marketing experience with hands-on marketing operations to balance the analytical, technical, and strategic demands of this role. Given the high importance and scope of this position, this individual will need to possess proven database management and strong project management skills.
The goal of the position will be to increase the effectiveness of campaign operations through proven structured business processes, deployment of database marketing best practices, effective use of available campaign management technologies, use of information and analysis to drive better campaign design, execution and overall results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in strategy development for Marketing Database infrastructure design and improvement. Lead overall direction for the enhancement of the marketing database environment, including the structure of the database, integration of overlay data and configuration of marketing database interactive tools.
- Tracking and forecasting business growth and market sizing across the commercial organization for identifying strategic Product or Network expansion opportunities.
- Manage marketing operations with analysis, test strategies and insights through consistent use of advanced analytics including segmentation and predictive modeling.
- Assumes responsibility for accuracy and consistency of data across all databases within the data warehouse.
- Builds and communicate schedules for database development, updates and maintenance to user audience.
- Has shared responsibility for data quality. Validates data integrity from input through to output in reports, models, program applications.
- Manages 3rd party overlay relationships and operations (e.g., TNS Data, D&B, InfoUSA, etc). Seek out, review and recommend possible new data sources for third-party firmographic and contact information.
- Manage day to day interactions with TechNo/ IT in Plan of Record projects to improve data Quality and Access.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ YEARS OF MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 7 years ' experience in managing a Marketing Analytics team with focus on database marketing operations and data governance.
- Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets. Understanding of relational databases and techniques used to retrieve data from Servers and large DataWarehouses
- Experience with database operations management tools like Unica, SAS, Micro Strategy, Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects, SAS and/or SPSS. Familiarity and comfort with SQL is a benefit.* Experience with marketing automation system Eloqua is a huge plus!
- Solid working knowledge of database marketing principles, techniques and processes.
- Demonstrated database research and analytical skills.
- MS Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word- with high level of proficiency in Excel
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting complex subjects in a concise and easy to understand fashion to senior management

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/ AND OR CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred.
- 3 years of relevant leadership experience
- 7+ years of total relevant work experience

SCOPE/ OTHER SIGNIFICANT ATTRIBUTES OF THE JOB:
- The Sr. Manager role will have responsibility for database operations , data governance, and market sizing supporting the Time Warner Cable Business Class organization spanning Small Business, Mid-Market and Enterprise business segments. The role will also support ongoing Product Management, Finance, and other department market sizing and strategic data requests.
- The position will manage a department of 5 professional employees.
- The position reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing Analytics and will support data requests from various levels within the company.
