Job Description

This is an entry level MIG/TIG welding position in which you will weld fixtures and furniture for a local manufacturer. We are looking for dependable candidates that are eager to learn and advance their skills within the trade as well as those with previous experience.

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers
• Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications
• Use of CNC cut-off saws, QA instruments, de-burring, and custom work will be performed
• Will be required to meet production quotas

 

Job Requirements

• Prior welding experience required
• Production welding experience is a plus
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Steel Toe shoes required
• Mandatory overtime required as is flexibility in Shift

• Committed to safety at all times
• Excellent attendance

 

Pay Rate:        $11-$16 hour based upon experience

Shift/Hours:    6 AM-6 PM or 6 PM-6 AM

                       12 hour Shifts

                       Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Saturday

 

Each Shift works 4 days on/3 days off first week then 3 days on/4 days off

1 Paid 30 minute Lunch; 1 unpaid 30 minute Lunch and 2 – 15 minute Breaks
