Aerotek Energy Services is searching for a qualified substation technician for a client in the Hickory, NC area.
-This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of apparatus in substations.
-This will include power circuit breakers, transformers, and step voltage regulators.
-The duties of this position will include, but not be limited to, performing preventive maintenance, testing, trouble shooting, dismantling and reassembling equipment, repairing or replacing damaged parts, and maintaining tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, orderly condition.
*Must be able to travel overnight, generally 3-4 nights per week, when working 50 miles or greater from the base location.
