Quality Assurance Technican - Full-time / Part-time

Manpower has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician to work in the Lithia Springs, GA area. Successful candidate will assist the Quality Control Department in all necessary product, raw material; packaging and labeling inspections in the Manufacturing Area and the Warehouse. Candidate must be available to work twelve hour day shift and occasional weekends. Job Qualifications: *Visually inspect all product components periodically, such as: side panels, insert, fasten ability and product codes. Also, perform tests to verify performance and functionality of the product. *When appropriate, must be able to initiate corrective action to prevent nonconforming products from reaching the customer and nonconforming raw materials from reaching manufacturing. *Record and alert the QC Department of any product or process quality concerns discovered during inspection. *Aid with the implementation of any corrective action plan in the Manufacturing Area due to the discovery of nonconforming product or raw materials. *Must be able to operate testing equipment such as an Tensile Tester. *Must understand each component of the product and the purpose of each component and how it affects the quality of the product.
