Customer Counter Representative - Full-time / Part-time

One of our Clients, with over 70-years of experience in the sales and service of electric motors and related apparatus, is looking for someone with solid mechanical aptitude, combined with customer service skills, to work at the front desk greeting incoming customers, answering phones, working with outside sales staff, following up on customer orders, looking up parts, assisting with purchasing and shipping/receiving. This is a long-term, full-time position This individual must be: *Professional *Mature *Confident ***Both, Mechanically-Inclined and Customer Service Oriented *Proficient with computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) *Able to type 45 WPM with a high level of accuracy *Highly detail-oriented *Very organized *Able to work in a fast paced environment *Able to work directly with management, sales reps, and motor repair technicians, in a constructive, agreeable, effective manner *Able to communicate effective, both, verbally and in writing *Experienced with shipping/receiving *Able to multi-task *Manage time effectively *Able to assist with purchasing process, including getting quotes from vendors The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role for a similar company. Otherwise, experience working at a customer counter for an Electrical Supply Company, or other mechanical services company, is highly preferred. Sales acumen is a plus. Shift Hours 7:30am-4:00/4:30pm, Mon-Fri Pay is negotiable, and depends on experience
