Seeking an Insurance Medical Claims Examiner

Manpower is looking to hire an insurance Medical Claims Examiner to work in the Farmington, CT area. This position is a contract assignment lasting 3 months, The ideal candidate will need to meet the following requirements: *Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience required. *Minimum of 4 years of claims related experience required; prior insurance experience in a health/disability claim environment required. *Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills. *Strong written and verbal communication skills. *Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. The Long Term Disability Examiner is responsible for all aspects of claim adjudication, including but not limited to contract evaluation, medical records evaluation, financial evaluation, eligibility determination, and benefits calculation and offset management. The position supports claim management and customer service for a wide variety of Group, Association and work site customers and their members/employees.
