DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represent Time Warner Cable ' s mission and values, and help grow our business, as a member of our southern Maine Retail Sales Team.
Develop rapport with customers, answer questions, meet needs and offer services that fit our customers ' lifestyles. Reports directly to the southern Maine Retail Sales Supervisor.
Primary retail location is Portland, Maine; will need to be available to work in Saco or Wells on an as needed basis.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
Prior sales and customer service experience required.
Must be able to listen and communicate effectively with customers. Computer skills required.
High school diploma or equivalent required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is a high energy environment requiring employees to sit, stand or move about for at least eight hours in a shift.
Must be able to use telephone and computer terminal in assisting customers, as well as a variety of other equipment.
Must be able to effectively communicate in person.
Must be able to work a variety of hours on any day in order to meet the department ' s scheduling, sales and customer care needs, which may include overtime.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.

Follow Time Warner Cable ' s S3 sales and retention process in every customer interaction, maximizing sales and retention efforts.
2.

Welcome customers to the Cable Store and learn customer needs.
3.

Resolve customer concerns, including following up with a customer until the resolution process has been completed.
4.

Must handle cash and payments efficiently and without errors.
5.

Ensure customers are satisfied with the service they receive on every visit to the Cable Store.
6.

Must learn to efficiently enter orders of all types, including installations, upgrades, reconnects, transfers, disconnects and downgrades.
7.

Perform other functions such as correcting customer billing, keying seasonal accounts and researching customer questions.
8.

May assist in training new cable store employees.
9.

Maintain professional attitude and appearance at all times.
10.

Keep supervisor informed of all activities.
11.

May assist as needed in reporting and special project assignments.

12.

May perform related duties as assigned or as become evident.
