Data Analyst

Aerotek is seeking a Data Entry/Data Analyst to help sort through data in a specific datrabase called SPSS which stands for statistical package for social sciences. The Research Support Specialist provides data and research assistance on research projects as assigned. The Specialist works with research team members to ensure timely and complete collection of research data needed in meeting research project deadlines. In addition, the Specialist will be responsible for the coordination of related administrative research activities, such as research meetings and conferences and oversight of the production and distribution of research materials and/or project reports.

Additional duties provided by the client are as follows:
- Reviews state reports for data accuracy by using logical edits to the data, descriptive analysis, and/or other methods that may be suggested by the research team members.
- Conducts data analysis, creates data display, and other visual aids for data presentation.
- Follows-up with states on the submission and correction of data and/or reports.
- Assists research team members in the analysis of data, conducts literature reviews, synthesis, and other analytical reports that may be requested by team members.
- Assists NRI staff with production of documents and reports and follow-up telephone calls on projects as assigned.
- Supports staff through the collection of literature and books, data entry, and data collection.
