Position is Monday-Friday 8AM - 4PM

General Statement of Duties:
All office clerical duties relating to customer payments, company paperwork and transmitting payroll for all MD Cash & Carry personnel to the corporate office. Service all customer needs by phone and in person. This position is responsible for maintaining safety records and building maintenance. This position assists the MD Cash & Carry Manager with any sales objectives.


Specific Duties:
Prepare excel spreadsheet for all payments received at MD Cash & Carry to be transmitted to the corporate office.

Prepare and balance bank deposits.

Reaches agreement with customers regarding the submission of past-due payments, and follows up to ensure compliance by the customer.

Maintains complete documentation of all interactions with customers.

Responds in a timely manner to all inquiries received from customer, and reports all unusual and/or unresolved matters to his/her supervisor at once.

Back up for warehouse personnel and customer service representative.

Open and close the warehouse as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.


Position Requirements:
The incumbent in this position must, at a minimum, be a graduate of a four-year, accredited high school.

The incumbent in this position must be effective in communicating with customers via the telephone and through correspondence while adhering to Company policies and without impairing the Company's image or relationship with its customers.

This position requires a person with a pleasant demeanor who can, at the same time, be firm in explaining timely payment responsibilities to the customers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, type on a computer key board and operate a phone. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist and lifting as required to stock product throughout the work day. Must be able to move up to 50lbs of merchandise occasionally and 25 pounds frequently. Proper lifting techniques are required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus to read written documents and a computer monitor.

Work Environment:
For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical retail environment. Noise levels are usually moderate.
