Oakwood Worldwide, the leading provider of temporary furnished and serviced apartments across the country, is seeking a Warehouse Foreman for our Home Services Hayward, CA operation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training
  • Intermediate computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds

The Warehouse Foreman is responsible for scheduling deliveries and pick-ups of items in our furnished corporate apartments within the local area. Additionally, the Foreman may provide some supervisory responsibilities as requested by management. Our Home Services Division provides apartment set-up, housekeeping and related services to our furnished apartments. Additionally, this division oversees our warehouse operations, physical plant, fleet of vehicles, and employs utility workers, warehousemen and housekeepers.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Schedule deliveries and pick-ups
  • Key control, distribute keys for day's activities
  • Control inventory to ensure proper handling to prevent inventory loss
  • Inspect inventory to ensure high quality
  • Oversee warehouse maintenance
  • Maintain a schedule and record of truck fleet repairs
  • Perform in-field inspections of finished apartments to ensure quality
  • Maintain good business relations with other departments
  • Assist in delivery of product
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving
