About this job
Transport goods between specified points in a safe manor via company owned and leased equipment.
Perform basic vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance before, during and after trips.
Assist in loading and unloading as required.
Maintain accurate trip reports, logs and records.
Maintain all required licenses/certifications required by DOT and OSHA as well as company safety programs.
Keep equipment clean and damage free inside and out.
Be willing to touch/handle freight as required.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall company/team operations.
Requirements:
Successful applicants
Must be CDL class A with air brake endorsement certified.
Must be able to drive standard shift.
Must read and write English, bilingual a plus.
Must have good communication and customer service skills.
Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
Must pass a background check.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to use a hand truck and lift at least 75 lbs.
