Second Shift Production Worker

We are looking to hire a production worker, to work on site at our client during their busy season, in Vinton, Iowa.

This production worker will work with a small crew in a production environment on a second shift position.

Pay: $12/hour
Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 2:30pm to 11:00pm
Duration: March to October, if permanent position comes available, Express Employee can bid on the position.

Job Description:
Employee will be responsible for loading the product bag onto the machine for processing. There are two different size bags. Majority of the time, the employee will be putting a small bag onto the machine while sitting down. There is minimal lifting involved unless there is product failure or damage. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds when needed. There are times when the employee will be responsible for the very large bulk bags of product. This employee will be responsible for setting up the bag that weighs upwards of 20 pounds and placing it on the machine. From there the product will fill the bag and the employee will tie it at the top.

Employee will have to check for product defects and fix as needed. With this, employee may be required to lift the bag and dump out product from bag. Bag could weigh 80 pounds.

The whole process is automated so there will not be much physical demand unless there is a special project needed.

Company will possibly train on forklift and computer usage.
