Production Associates Job Description

Production Associates receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Keep records and compile stock reports. Manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

 

•        Production associates receive and count stock items, and record data

•        Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.

•        Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

•        Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

•        Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

•        Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.

•        Production associates sort cargo before loading and unloading.

 

Ideal Production Associate Candidates

•        Production or relevant experience preferred

•        Committed to safety at all times

•        Excellent attendance

 

Pay Rate: $8.00 per hour

Shift/Hours:  Monday – Saturday, 1st  shift, 6:30 am – 3 pm, 2nd shift, 3 pm – 11:30 pm
