Program Coordinator - Full-time / Part-time

REM South Central Services is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator in Willmar, MN. We offer a supportive team environment, flexible schedule and a family-oriented culture to complement our benefits package.

By joining our team as a Program Coordinator (PC), you will provide assistance to 4 developmentally disabled women in a community-based setting. Direct-care responsibilities may include providing assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care. PCs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, PCs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.

The PC position will oversee the day-to-day operations. This person is highly involved in the coordination of services for the consumers involving communication with all team members. The Program Coordinator is responsible for accompanying consumers to medical appointments. Other responsibilities include consumer service and quality enhancement, public relations, physical plant maintenance, implementation of company personnel policies and procedures and financial management. Above all the Program Coordinator is responsible to protect and promote the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals served.

• High school diploma or GED

• Must be 18 years of age

• Valid driver’s license in good standing

• Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
