The Barback assists the bartenders in delivering exceptional service to bar patrons.  This is a part-time, event-based position located within the Food and Beverage Department of the Honda Center.   Hours for this position fluctuate depending upon arena event schedule.

Examples of Duties/Essential Functions:

• Setting the bar up for service and breaking it down after service.
• Changing Kegs and maintain proper pars within the bar
• Running Food and maintain the bar
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service
• Understanding of sanitation and food safety as it relates to the food and beverage industry
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification Standards: 

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy
• Strong communication skills
• Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20lbs
• Flexible schedule – candidates must be able to work 90% of all monthly events; ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
