BizTalk Administrator - San Antonio, TX - Full-time / Part-time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide operational design, support, installation, documentation and troubleshooting of the Clinical Integration environments and the applications deployed to them


• Participate in the design, construction, installation and troubleshooting of servers for the BizTalk 2010 systems to meet the functional objectives of the business


• Participate in the design and planning of the BizTalk infrastructure changes


• Participate in capacity and resource design, assessing environmental risks and contingency support


• Ensure hardware and system software resources, assists in development while maintaining standards


• Perform routine maintenance such as security patches, service account password changes, service installation, etc.


• Utilize strong knowledge of BizTalk architecture including BizTalk database backend support


• Install, configure, design, maintain and support BizTalk development, test and production environments


• Closely works with the DBA, Infrastructure, IKA teams to ensure patches/upgrades/changes are coordinated


• Help monitor and investigate production issues


• Manage team development & documentation environments - Team Foundation Server & SharePoint


• Perform environmental and application level performance tuning


• Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of Microsoft BizTalk Server administration experience


• 2 or more years of BizTalk installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience


• 2 or more years of BizTalk internal functions (orchestrations, send ports, tracking, etc.) experience


• Skill in design and implementation of BizTalk disaster recovery methods


• Understanding and translating BizTalk server error messages

Preferred Qualifications:

• BizTalk Server Administration certification


• Experience with SVN or Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) administration


• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server administration


• Experience with Microsoft server administration


• Experience with IIS web server administration


• 2 or more years of clinical or healthcare experience


• Experience with HL/7 Interface protocol


• Medical terminology, medical records background, practice management experience or systems installation background
