The
Post Pay Non-Clinical Intake Analyst will be receiving and reviewing cases to
determine if medical records need to be requested for further review. They will also be responsible for creating
and preparing medical records requests and conducting provider follow up to
receive the records.
Primary
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large spreadsheet of data
- Determine appropriate list of claims/patients that
require medical records for review - Create medical records request letters
- Receive and document medical records within case
tracking system - Additional follow-up with Providers to obtain all
records requested - Prepare case to move to Investigations teams
- Ensure adherence to federal compliance policies,
contract compliance - Collaboration with Clinical Investigator, Legal and
Compliance for case review
Requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years work experience in the healthcare industry
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience working in a production environment
- Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and computer
skills - Excellent oral and written communication skills
Assets:
- Advanced knowledge and experience working on various
approaches to health care fraud preferred - Medicare/Medicaid program knowledge preferred
- SIU (Special Investigation Unit) work experience
preferred - Knowledge of the following Claims platforms:
COSMOS; CPW; CSP; Diamond; Facets; NICE preferred - 2+ years experience with health care claims
Physical
Requirements and Work Environment:
- Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting,
use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects,
long periods working at a computer - Service center environment with moderate noise level
due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity
- Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and computer skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
