Labor Ready is currently hiring a Line Cook for a temporary, long term and  temporary to hire position in the Alpharetta and Sandy Springs area. These positions pay $10 - $12 per hour.

Line Cook Job Description

Cooks will accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.

•        Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.

•        Complete opening and closing checklists

•        Refer to daily prep list and the start of each shift for assigned duties

•        Promptly reports equipment and food quality or shortage problems

Ideal Line Cook Candidates

•        3 - 5 years of in fast paced kitchen experience is a must

•        State-certified proper food handling certification. ServSafe® certification is a plus

•        Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

•        Well groomed and professional appearance

•        Committed to safety at all times

•        Excellent attendance

Pay Rate: $10 - $12 per hour

Shift/Hours: Various shifts, Monday - Sunday
