Description

The project and strategy manager for MSI is a highly visible function both in the MSI head office and in the HQ in Plano and holds a broad customer base. The main purpose of the Project Manager role is to implement supply chain initiatives and bring them to the market in a flawless way. Reporting to the VP Head of International, this role is responsible for coordinating all MSI projects (Innovation, new formulas, new packages, new labels as well as supporting the ongoing strategy work for MSI ).

The function will interact on constant basis with technical experts (packaging, R&D, supply chain, legal, finance, etc) as well as with the commercial team in MSI and distributors (globally). In addition, this role will be the key driver for the facilitation of the strategy work for MSI, where h/s will lead planning processes, Leadership Team (ILT) meetings as well as provide analytical and research support to drive MSI strategy.

The role will be based on our Boca Raton office, with approximately 25% travel.
Position Responsibilities
Project Management
· Deliver projects through the full project lifecycle. Facilitate activities and resources (self, internal and 3rd party) to deliver project deliverables and achieve time, cost, quality and scope objectives.
· Ensure that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained. Oversee selection and appointment of services and resources to the projects. Track all activities against the plans providing regular and accurate reports to senior management, project office and client management, as appropriate.
· Lead supply chain projects, developing and maintaining resourcing plans for the staff involved, resolving resource conflicts and monitoring the deployment of individuals to insure that they are contributing effectively.
· Undertake all project work in a professional, customer focused manner, using the standard methodology and producing required documentation.
· Monitor projects throughout the project phases to ensure the solution meets the business requirements, alerting business leadership when there are potential disconnects.
· Monitor and report on the progress of solution design, development and deployment for projects within area of responsibility. Maintain an emphasis on the early identification and, where possible, rectification of problems and deviations, including changes in scope, especially where these have resource, timeline and financial implications, communicating risks and issues to business management.
· Attend periodic ILT staff meetings to report on status updates of related initiatives and identify opportunities, dependencies and risks associated with delivery of agreed upon projects.
· Take an inquisitive lead to understand all levels of the business. This will involve development of business awareness, business knowledge, project management techniques and customer liaison skills.

Financial Management
· Provide project financial forecasts and budget variances.
· Overall accountability for project resource procurement to pay efforts
· Support project time, cost, complexity and estimation efforts to project teams, business and IT management.
Communication
· Liaise with project sponsors, business partners, portfolio managers and project stakeholders, within the business, maximizing their understanding and support of the project and managing expectations for project solution design, development and delivery.
· Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
· Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
· Adaptability to different cultures
· Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Business skills
· Cross-functional leadership skills to manage processes across Dr Pepper Snapple Group functions
· Familiarity with CPG-related functions (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance)
· Ability to lead, influence and drive decision-making with a broad cross-functional team to ensure linkage to strategic priorities and execution plans
· Strong presentation skills presenting to senior leaders necessary
· Understanding of Rapid Continuous Improvement concepts a plus

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a concentration in Business, Marketing, or Finance
2. 5 years’ work experience in project management, planning/process, strategy work within consumer products
3. 5 years’ experience with financial analysis, ROI review
4. 5 years’ advance proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, large data sets) and MS PowerPoint
5. 5 years’ experience using MS Project, or another related project management planning tool
6. Fully bilingual in Spanish
