Experienced Welders Needed

Express Employment Professionals in Hillsboro, OR has teamed up with multiple industry design and fabrication companies to hire experienced welders.

Job Summary:
Requires a thorough knowledge of welding practices and techniques, equipment types, purposes and applications, and material characteristics, usually acquired through completion of high school and 1-2 years of vocational trade school, plus 3-4 years of diversified welding experience. Individual must be capable of reading and working from blueprints and be capable of welding with GMAC, FCAW and SAW welding procedures.

Pay is commensurate with experience ranging from $15.00-20.00/hour. We are seeking candidates with flexibility to work between 6am-11pm.

Requirements:
FCAW Certification preferred
Minimum 3-4 years welding experience with heavy industrial equipment and/or combination of education, training and work experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
Strong math skills; good statistical and numerical ability
Excellent visual dexterity
Demonstrated strength and endurance; physical ability to work on feet or contorted in awkward positions
Ability to work in a fast-paced flexible environment
Must be willing to work overtime work during evening and weekend hours as needed
Reliable transportation
