As the Clinical Admin Supervisor you would provide supervision to a team of  Clinical Admin Coordinators.  The supervisor is responsible for direct reports, monthly audits/scorecards, daily inventory management of an average 37 cases/day/Clinical Admin Coordinator, coaching, mentoring, providing best practices, scheduling, managing PTO and day to day performance of a team.

 

Key Accountabilities:


  • Recruits, screens and selects applicants for Coordinator jobs.

  • Educates all staff on revised job processes. 

  • Ensures proper training of new staff by utilizing the resources available within the team.

  • Assign work to staff.

  • Manages, mentors and supports staff on a daily basis.   Develops clear goals and objectives for performance management and effectively communicate accountability. 

  • Creates a culture and atmosphere that will lead to team's overall job satisfaction. 

  • Implements and evaluates strategies to improve performance including work improvement plans and making final determination on terminations of employment. 

  • Utilizes management reports for the department to assess performance of entire team. 

Requirements

Requirements:


  • Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology

  • Strong administrative skills to include intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • 3+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare/medical environment

  • Leadership and/or management experience

Preferred Assets:


  • 1+ years of managed care experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • Experience with managing virtual staff
