Under moderate supervision, monitors, coordinates and directs the daily operations and activities of the Registration staff. Initiates and analyzes financial reports related to the activities of the area to ensure accuracy, efficiency and appropriate utilization of resources. Ensure accounts are worked according to established policies and procedures and completed in a timely manner optimizing cash flow. Accurately update financial and demographic information into the SMS registration system and reflect the daily collection actions and account status of patient's accounts.

This candidate may be needed to travel to one of the two facilities and assist with processes and training. Hospital facility locations are: St. John's Pleasant Valley and St. John's Regional.


 


 


 



 

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Training Experience
Experience in supervising admitting functions inclusive of insurance protocols.
Previous financial experience in cash collection, business office, managed care setting, physician or clinical office.
4 years relevant experience in a hospital environment.
Bilingual skills are highly desirable.
Candidate must be able to perform quality assurrances for all admitting areas.
