Primary Purpose (Brief summary statement):
* Ensuring the cleanliness & Sanitation of food processing equipment
* Ensure safety in the workplace and compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials, chemicals & equipment necessary for the performance of his/her tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities (Must include essential functions of the position):
* Reporting to Supervisor any incidents, accidents and/or safety hazards.
* Reporting to Supervisor or caretaker of the area of any maintenance requirements such as broken food processing machines, problems with cleaning equipment such as pressure washers or foamers.
* Other duties as assigned.
Special Equipment and/or Machinery:
* Pressure Washers
* Chemical Foamers
Special Working Condition(s):
* Fast paced
* Working in a wet environment
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education (i.e. Specialized Degree):
* Standard or General Education
Directly Related Previous Experience (Type & time):
* Cleaning and sanitizing
Required Skills (Must include physical/mental abilities necessary to accomplish essential functions):
* Ability to demonstrate literacy & numeracy (basic math)
* Ability to work with minimum supervision.
* Effective interpersonal skills.
