Position Overview

The Sales Administrator is responsible for assisting the sales managers in tracking inventory, record keeping and reporting requirements.

Who would I interact with?

This position interacts daily with Sales Associates, Sales Managers, other Managers, suppliers, support staff and customers, just to name a few.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Assisting sales management with vehicle inventory control by tracking incoming and outgoing vehicles
  • Preparing accurate pricing stickers and warranty labels for all vehicles
  • Maintaining accurate record keeping of vehicle inventory, including new car information, wholesale purchase and sale information
  • Tracking individual and departmental Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and preparing required weekly and monthly reports
  • Providing information as required to the business office on vehicle sales
  • Answering all incoming calls promptly and professionally when necessary
  • Preparing all deal jackets for department with checklist
  • Completing duties as assigned by sales managers to help with inventory control and information flow within sales department and between other departments

What are the requirements for this job?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be highly organized; have excellent follow-up skills; anticipate needs and demonstrate excellent judgment
  • Effective administrative skills, ability to manage own workload and handle multiple tasks
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to operate various types of office equipment
