Description

IT Manager, Sales Enablement and Business Analysis

This individual will play a critical role in the new innovation tracks created with main intent to improves sales and provide greater analytic ability to the business uers.
This individual will be responsible for data analysis, visualization and report design using the MicroStrategy suite of tools as well as other reporting and visualization toolkits. Strong experience with MicroStrategy is required and additional experience with data management and mining is desired. This individual should have strong background with retail data and exposure to VLDBs. This individual will collaborate with business partners to define requirements and reporting specifications and provide technical report assistance. This individual will also support end user training and provide second-line support for users who develop reports on behalf of their departmental colleagues.

Position Responsibilities

• Interface with the business domain and gather requirements from the user community.
• Create business specifications as well as technical and project plans.
• Analyze and optimize available data relevant to the problem, incorporating additional sources as required.
• Develop custom reporting and analytic solutions to meet business needs.
• Create and incorporate MicroStrategy objects required for business reporting.
• Interact with Master data, managed service and other teams to coordinate solution delivery and scheduling.
• Develop complex metrics, composite reports and dynamic dashboards using in-house and third-party visualization tools.
• Engage in the testing and deployment of new business intelligence solutions and assets.
• Document solutions for users and provide assistance with training and user support.
• Assist in the debugging and remediation of day-to-day production issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree in technology or similar field of study or matched business experience primarily in microstrategy businss development
• 8 years of Information Technology experience primarily around Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing.
• 6 years hands on experience in Data Management and Data Modeling
• 6 years hands on experience with VLDBs like Netezza or Oracle or SQL Server or Teradata
• Certified MicroStrategy Project Designer & Reporter with Microstrategy Project Implementation & Report Design experience
• 7 years Systems Administration experience
