JOB DESCRIPTION
We're currently seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Pinetops, NC.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Required to be at work on time and willing to work overtime as needed
- Comply with all job-related safety requirements
- Required to wear steel toe safety shoes and safety glasses
- Work daily using Company core values: “Respect, Responsibility and Determination”
- Essential part of the role is to stand for long periods, perform repetitious motion, lift up to 35lbs, some positions requires continuous sliding of a hoist with extreme amount of weight
- Able and willing to use the following tools and other miscellaneous tools and equipment as required by role:
- Compressed air, Power, Wire stripping, Crimping, Soldering Iron, Press, and winding machines
Qualifications:
- High school degree or GED required
- CRC required, Bronze level or higher required
- Technical background is a plus
- Must be able to understand basic math skills and read measurement tools
- Understanding of a manufacturing environment, terminology, and processes
- Willingness to cross train into multiple functions or skills
- Must be a self-starter and willing to learn all positions
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This is a 6+ month contract position
- Starting pay rate is $9.50/hr
- Hours are 2 nd shift, from 3pm to 11:30pm
