Description
By joining our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP),you will provide assistance to individuals with disabilities in a community-based setting. Additional responsibilities may include providingassistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning;medication administration; and personal care. DSPs may also facilitatecommunity involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the communityor providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
