Are you an experienced Licensed Social Worker looking for an exciting opportunity? MENTOR Maryland is looking for a dynamic Intake Worker whose role will be to build and maintain relationships with referring agencies in order to increase client referrals. Additionally, the intake worker is responsible for matching clients to be placed with appropriate foster parents. This is a great opportunity for a clinician who is also interested in marketing and business development. MENTOR Maryland is a fast paced environment and we are looking for someone who easily connects with people and will be able to establish key relationships with our foster parents and referral agencies.

The Mentor Network is seeking an Intake Coordinator to manage and accept referrals. This individual will initiate appropriate communication with clinical and operations teams based on the needs of referred clients/consumers to facilitate appropriate placement and/or services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (Master's preferred)
• Licensed Social Worker (LSWA, LGSW, LCSW)
• Previous experience with foster care and/or the provision of mental health services with seriously emotionally disturbed (SED) clients preferred

• Valid driver’s license and reliable & insured transportation

The Medically Fragile Treatment Foster Care program provides medically trained foster homes for children and teens with chronic health conditions, developmental delays/mental retardation, and/or physical disabilities. We are currently expanding our services to include youth with autism. Each two-parent foster home has a primary stay-at-home caregiver. This program strives for permanency where reunification is not possible: we have finalized over 130 adoptions by our foster parents since 2002.
