REM Iowa is seeking a Home Manager to manage the daily operation and planning of an assigned program. This includes the direction of all personnel, maintenance, dietary, medical and individual programming functions. The Home Manager is responsible for the advocacy, coordination and facilitation of executing quality programming for 8 individuals with disabilities ensuring consistent compliance with state and federal operating standards, as well as the service goals of the REM Iowa organization. The Home Manager also manages, hires, trains and schedule staff; and maintains records.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a human service related field.
  • One to two years of related experience
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Must have a good driving record.
  • Experience with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred
  • Experience with individual who display maladaptive behaviors preferred
