This position will supervise 4-5 Inside sales technical support specialists and 2-3 project management staff. Working in a Manufacturing Environment

Responsibilities for Project, Sales Management, Marketing and Business Development activities include:

Contact end user installed base and strategy including journal entry, exhibitions and seminars

Manage all internal Sales Administration functions including margin analysis forms, quote logs, sales reports, and quote lead time metrics/goals.

Review customer requirements with applicable sales person to ensure information is sufficient for preparing effective proposals/quotations.

Ensure that company standard terms and conditions are accepted by the customer.

Ensure that Applications Engineer reviews the customer's technical requirements, that they provide a recommended solution and that this solution is offered in the technical proposal.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals

Ensure that all inquiries are attended to in a systematic manner and proposals adequately portray company value proposition.

Liaise with legal department on customers T&C's

Review and highlight commercial constraints to Regional Sales Manager during bid process

Create Management sales reports

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of proposals, including the claims made about company products and their performance.

Ensure that commercial proposals are consistent with company selling policies

Ensure that product pricing in proposals is achieving the margins in company business plan

Ensure that customer purchase orders received as a result of proposals is accurate and consistent with all provisions of the proposals and any modifications made through negotiations with customers.

Prepare and give presentations to customers, sales personnel and others

Make customer calls with sales personnel in support of their efforts to obtain orders for company products.

Conduct new order kick-off meetings for new orders.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Business (preferred)

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

SAP proficiency, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Experience in preparing and presenting technical/commercial proposals for products in

Oil and Gas industry.

3-5 years experience in marketing and sales support for products in the Oil and Gas Industry

Proven experience in Supervising and organizing the activities of others.
