About this job
Use your Sharp Analytical Skill to help us conduct and manage outcomes of various studies which include reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning! Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. Also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze errors to provide solutions at the root cause level
- Validate issues and root causes identified with business SMEs to obtain functional area ownership
- Determine appropriate action plans and obtain buy-in from functional areas on remediation activities and dates
- Follow up to ensure timely execution of action plans
- Conduct and distribute internal reporting on client audit error trends/causes
- Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
- Works with less structured, more complex issues
- Develop charting such as Pareto's, box-plots, control charts to illustrate findings and defect data
- Serves as a resource to others
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Quality Auditor Certification
- 4+ year of experience in business and root cause analysis
- Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Excel, SharePoint, Access, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated process improvement, root-cause analysis, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
- Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required. Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Black Belt, Green Belt, Six Sigma or other related certification
- Related military experience
