REM River Bluffs offers residential services with supports tailored to the needs of each individual as well as hourly support, respite and other specialized services to help individuals be as independent as possible. We are currently looking for caregivers in the Apple Valley area.



Description

REM River Bluffs is seeking Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to provide assistance to individuals with disabilities and medical complexities in a community-based setting. Caregivers provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care. Direct Support Professionals may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSP's support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Car registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services
  • Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
